ok. due to technical difficulties, i can't put the videos up here fer u guys... sry. but if anyone wants them, u can just msg me and i'll send it 2 u guys. anyway, here's a critique of yesterday's show.
Hady- ok. basically, i dun agree at all with what ken said. not just cos ken's a prick, but he does have very rich vocals, as rahimah mentioned to me a few days ago. his ballading skills are rather flawless, as well as his ability to captivate the audience. maybe it had to do with him wearing white, but he was shining on stage. in every sense of the word.

Randy-randy was very old sch fer me, but not exactly in a bad way. it was very elvis-sy fer me. and i could tell that he was relli enjoying himself on stage. but as with geraldine's performance last week, he wasn't able to relli put a phenomanal impact on the song. i would have welcomed points where he took the soles of his feet away frm the stage. he was fun, enjoying himself, but he wasn't hyper. to do a song like dat, one needs 2 be relli hyper. i've noticed dat all the hits songs, with large reputations etc all require a lot of energy to bring justice to them. but randy, u did alright, dude. gr8 effort.

Adil- adil. adil, adil, adil... kiss from a rose. haiz...image was wonderful, he had the whoel goth thing goin' on, with the eyeliner and everything. but vocas-wise, he was very bouncy. it was like, high low high low high high low. i mean, at least maintain the pitch lah. sadly, he also wasn;t able to end the song on a good note. and it loked like he was relli straining. but regarding his stage presence, he was relli friendly with the mikestand and his movements were very captivating, but i juz can't say many meritable thigns about his vocals, sry...

Jay- ok. jay is a singer. no doubt about that. vocal range is amazing, but it's very, fake. as in. it's very different frm his usual voice. it works to his advantage. but it's just weird. ppl like randy and hady, ahve singing voices close to their speaking voices. and it's very natural-sounding. but with jay, it's like "wow. is that relli him?" doing a ballad was a wise move fer him. image-wise was a bit out-of-place to me, cos he was, overly-dressed. litterally. as in he wore too much. it would have been better fer him to just wear a shirt, with a necklace, and long pants, which i feel would have suited his song better.

roslan- i dun relli have much to say about roslan, except that's he has a very charming smile. no doubt about that. image-wise was alright, and his singing voice is very sultry, very smooth. pleasant. however, it was a very forgettable performance. it's just like a normal, stand, sing, leave, kinda thing. not very captivating fer me.

primero-wow. very emotional. i think song-wise was alright, although the last note is very tricky.but i could see he was singing with all his heart, and enjoying it at the same time. i found the last note, after he turned away to be very very emo, though... it was like, cool, but a bit over the top. image-wise is rather attractive, compliments his "sexy-beast" image, although i can imagine some ppl would rather see him in a thong. haha. jkjk. primero, dun kill me. haha. anyway,very memroable performnce. i just hope it's fer the right reasons.

joakim- our crowd fav. joakim jude shane gomez. hmm....how to put it? ok. probably the most memorable performance of the evening, doing geek in the pink was quite a risky move, considering dat the song duzzent relli appeal to all ages. vocal-wise, it was too deep, and didn't have a jason mraz feel to it. but it did have a joakim gomez feel to it, so well done. parts of the song were changed, and it was fer the better bah. the dance solo was a bit too much fer me, but hey, the fans liked it, so wad can i say, ryte? it was a very risky move to pull the audience into the song, but he had fans in the audience, so it kinda did work out. dancing and everything was very coordinated to the song, not to mention clothes were matching with the song, and it was very entertaining.
